My deepest condolences to the family. Sandra and I went to school together. Wow can't believe I'm reading her obituary. Such a caring person in school.  Loved by everyone!


I cherish my wonderful lifelong memories of Sandra and will miss her kind words and warm hugs.

Aunt Sandra was my favorite Aunt growing up. 

People said I looked like her when she was young,  I loved that. Having someone else that resembled me was a strong pull, and the kindness she showed me cemented our relationship. 

She loved to take us on the city bus everywhere. She took us to Adie Knox arena for swimming and ice skating lessons. She took us to Wheels to learn how to roller skate. She took my sister and I to a photographer one time when we were 13, to get special sister photos done. 

I remember bubble baths with Palmolive dish soap. hair treatments with Mane and Tail and Bone Strait. 
Fashion shows with clothes from her closet, and her really cool three sided light up makeup mirror. 
The sound of Celine Dion and the Beauty And The Beast singing us to sleep during sleepovers (she was a night owl too).

 Going for walks and outings to the Big V drugstore to get snacks then off to rent a movie for the weekend. I fondly remember Curly Sue as a favorite. 

One summer we even found a toad by the water and brought it home. We named it Jackie and it lived in a white construction bucket in the backyard. (We were too young to know how inhumane that was at the time). 

She told us ghost stories and sang silly songs. One of my favorites I still sing to my kids is "I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee". 
When I was in high school, I used to stop by WorkWear to visit her after school. And after I moved out, I used to ride my bike down in Sandwich Town past her building and wonder if she was home. 

She was one of the few adults that had endless energy to spend with us as children, and an overabundance of patience and kindness. 

I'm going to miss the special way she said "sangwich" and how she'd always pray for me at the end of a phone call. 

RIP Aunt Sandra, You left a lasting impact on this World and it will never be forgotten

Remembering our switching from ice skating to roller skating!

You have made the journey that so many of our ancestors had made. I remember us sharing a bedroom growing up together with our late-night conversations while we were supposed to be sleeping. The childhood disagreements we had growing up. You would always tell mom I was doing something wrong to get me in trouble. The laughter you had as we laid in our beds about how you fooled mom into believing your stories about a made-up transgression I had did. I would often protest it was not fair being the youngest of the girls. Mom would never believe me when I assured, I had done nothing wrong. The years we spent ice skating in the back yard then switching over to roller skating in our twenties. The new friends we made in the skating community. So many years have gone by so quickly. Rest easy and enjoy meeting the so many family members who were patiently waiting your arrival. 

I’m so heartbroken hearing this news.  The pandemic seems to have stolen our ability to visit together and even grieve as a family after so much loss last year.  The lost time costs so much.  I so wish you got to meet Estella - you woulda loved instigating her sassy ways! My favourite memories of my Aunt Sandra are that she used to send me the absolute best letters in the mail multiple times a year growing up, personalized to her “bow head Jenny” and she would replace some of the words with stickers - she used emojis before there was even texting!! She taught me how to craft and always had a cool project for us to do together. We all loved our Uno tournaments together. She always was telling me secrets and kept mine when she snuck me an extra treat.  I love you so much Aunt Sandra and miss you dearly. May you Rest In Peace now with Grandma and Grandpa above.

In meeting Sandra, it opened a new chapter in a friendship that was important in helping me to understand inner feelings and learn to converse beyond the norm between a man and woman. My loss is deep and not easily replaceable, meaning that a warm place and love will always remain in my heart for her.

The world has lost a kind soul with your passing. Soft spoken and gentle in her ways. You are now in the embrace of your parents and the Lord's arms who you loved so much. May your memory be eternal 💔 dear Sandra.  

To the Proctor Family.  Our deepest condolences on the passing of your sister and auntie Sandra.  May you rest in Paradise my friend.  

Sandra was a beautiful person, I remember her at our quilting classes, she was a diligent worker.  When she was a Sunday School teacher, she spent a lot of time researching the background of the lesson, therefore I learned a lot from her.  She had a quiet demeanour, but could still make you laugh.  Sandra will be sorely missed.  Family, you are in my prayers, you have my deepest sympathy.

Sandra was always  warm and welcoming with her beautiful smile.  It was nice to visit Sandra and Linda just before Christmas.  I will treasure the laughter and conversation for years to come.  Praying for the family.
