Scott Pursley

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Pursley on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 59 years of age. Beloved husband to Linda, proud father of Brandon (Stephanie) and Colton (Jessica), and cherished papa to Zander, Lucas and baby Pursley (Colton and Jessica). Born to Joyce and Wray Pursley (both predeceased), Scott was the younger brother to Cathy (Steve) Beacham and Janet (Chris) Beachey. Caring son in-law to John and Marion McAviney (both predeceased) and brother in-law to Johnny. Dear friend to Shelley Williams and Durwood Gould (predeceased). Scott will be greatly missed but forever remembered by many friends, nieces and nephews, colleagues, and other relatives. There are simply too many people to name, as he was very special to so many.

The most important thing in life to him was his family. Scott was a loving husband to Linda for 37 beautiful years and truly the best father, brother, and papa anyone could hope for. He deeply cared for those around him and was always there to lend a helping hand.

Scott loved to spend time with his friends, and he enjoyed golfing, barbecuing in his backyard (Coors Light in hand), taking care of his immaculate lawn, and relaxing in the hot tub with his wife. He was an amazing cook, who could always whip up a delicious meal. He treasured the Sibling/Outlaw wine/brewery tours and vacations each year with his siblings. But most of all he loved to travel! Throughout his life, Scott created the most amazing memories with his wife, children, and his friends, taking many trips to the Caribbean and Europe. He always came home with a great tan!

Anyone that interacted with Scott, saw what an amazing and genuine person he was. It was evident that he truly cared, and he will be missed by many! He was a great man.

Scott worked at Hugo Boss, Bombay, and came out of retirement to join the Three Lambs Baby Boutique team, where he truly found his passion.

A special thank you to all of the nurses and doctors on the ICU floor at Windsor Regional, Ouellette Campus for the compassion and care you extended to Scott and his entire family.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, ON (519-254-3223) on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to The Scott Pursley Grandchildren Memorial Fund.
