We have many fond memories of Bill, especially tipping a birthday glass of Walkerville on the Bruce. Bill was a proud family man, always playful, welcoming, and generous with his time. We see a lot of Bill in his son Rick, whom we've been good friends with for 42 years. We shall miss Bill and "Windsor calling"!

My deepest condolences to Pat Moore and the Willson family.  Bill was one of those people whom your feel fortunate to have known.  He was generous and kind. 

Bill liked music and books and probably held the record for ongoing attendance at the concerts of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra  since its beginning in the late 40s and early 50s.  I first me Bill Willson (with two LLs, as he introduced himself) at South Shore Books.  Bill offered to 
act as Peter Gzowski's guide and chauffeur when Peter was on a book tour in Windsor.  Of course, we took him up on his gracious offer.

Working out with Bill for the past 15 years has made me a better person. His spunk and smile have forever made a positive impression on my heart. He will be deeply missed.

I met Bill (regularly) driving him to his Monday afternoon bridge game (with my Dad). He was a lovely man. Kind, thoughtful, and playful. Rest in peace Bill.

Always a true gentleman. I remember when Richard introduced me to him and how he treated me, pure class. I know Richard will miss his dad but take time to think of the good times spent together and they will help you remember the real man that he was.

My name is Yelena. I am Natasha's mom. This is how I met Bill. This is how I became a proud member of this wonderful family. The year was 1991. We all were 25 years younger, some of us were not even born yet, and we were full of life and plans and hopes. 
Acquaintance usually develops slowly, step by step. But for us (for my late husband Yury and me and Pat and Bill) everything started from the wedding, the wedding of Natasha and Ian. It sounds like the beginning of a fairy tale. And it was a fairy tale indeed. The new family was created. My husband and I lived across the Detroit River, in Southfield, a suburb of Detroit. Bill, Pat, and the two of us met many times in Windsor, in Michigan.  We always enjoyed the company of each other. And Bill was always the soul, the pivot of our gathering. He was a great story teller, and at the same time, he was a great listener. It seemed our happy life would never end; it would be always like that.
It is hard to have a philosophical approach when one loses a dear person like Bill. I will always remember his charm, his bright intellect, his kindness. I miss him. I will always miss him.

Although I only saw him a few times in the home of his son Rick Willson and wife Robyn, my dear friends, he impressed me as a happy person and shared his ideas easily.  Granddaughters Jenna and Maya Scherr-Willson will miss him as will his son and daughter in-law.  My condolences to the entire family.

 Bill Willson was a happy man who enthusiastically embraced life. Bill was both a good listener and a terrific storyteller.
People and places nourished his soul and he enriched the lives of those lucky to be touched by his lively spirit.

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a good neighbor "across the park" when we lived on Eastlawn. A true gentleman. An honest lawyer. A kindly man with a mischievous sense of humour.

Thinking of you at this sad time, Bill was a long time friend and a joy to be with. He will be missed at the Monday afternoon bridge game.

I have so many great memories of my cousin, Bill. We were both June babies but ten years apart. On his many visits to our home in Kitchener, Bill and I had wonderful times singing together, while I played the piano. 
I think I treasured most, the fact that he never treated me like a little kid.
I deeply regret that I cannot make the trip to Windsor, but I will be present in spirit.
