Aston was born on August 20, 1948 in St. Ann Jamaica to Roslyn and William Lynch. He worked as a Cabinet Maker with Kitchen Craft until his retirement.
He enjoyed long bike rides, going for walks and “painting the town red” on the weekends to
“check out his girls”. He and his wife enjoyed listening to their reggae classics and dancing their nights away together like two high school sweethearts.
Aston was well known in the community and was very well respected by coworkers and friends alike.
His wisdom and advice always provided a lesson. Even if it was something you didn’t want to hear. He spoke from his heart. He was honest, quick witted and had a great sense of humour and sense of style.
If you sought him out for counsel, he held your worries and issues in great confidence with no judgment. His silent support and love is what drew people to him and all the above makes it so hard to say goodbye.
He loved spending time with his neighbour’s and could always be seen waving and smiling at all who passed by. His friendships were important to him and he especially loved spending time with his family.
He will be remembered for his sly nods, numerous nicknames he may have had for you and the love and support he showed everyone he came in contact with.
He is survived by his sisters; Nerissa and Josephine, nieces and nephews, his children and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his brothers; Stanley, George and sister Merlita and son Robert.
We love you Buds and hold on in faith that we will one day be with you again.
A celebration of life service will be held on August 12, 2023 at New Anointing Christian Fellowship, 1425 Manitoba. The viewing will be held at the church at 9:00 am with the service commencing at 10:00 am.
