

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Bhupinder Kumar Kaushal on May 3, 2026 surrounded by his beloved family.
He passed away in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 65 years old. He is predeceased by his parents Mr. Satya Prakash Kaushal and Mrs. Shakuntala Devi Kaushal. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife; Manju Kaushal. Children; Deepti (Arjan) Sandhu, Nidhi (Hans) Dhalla, Anjali (Amit) Manocha, and Keshav Kaushal (Bhavana Garg). Grandchildren; Samaya & Aveera Sandhu and Saiya & Angad Dhalla. Sisters; Darshan (Sushil) Sharda, Rajee Sharma (Late Dinesh Sharma) and Madhu (Mohan) Bali, and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was born in Ludhiana, India in 1960 and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1981. He recognized and overcame the hardships that came with moving to a new country and adapting to change. Despite all his responsibilities, he fulfilled every role with honor and integrity. He was an exceptional son to his father and mother whom he loved so dearly. He built a wonderful life with his dearest wife Manju by his side.
He earned a name for himself at his job at Freed and Freed, where he devoted a large portion of his life. He became an integral part of the Winnipeg community with his genuine personality, humorous jokes and a smile that lit up every room. Together he and his wife raised four children instilling the values of having resilience, strength, kindness, perseverance and positivity in life.
He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. He devoted his life to ensure his children were raised well and that he gave them the most irreplaceable gift of life; his time. His favorite thing to do was to be surrounded by all his loved ones, just simply feeling the presence of happiness and love. He was a man who took any situation and found positivity to keep moving forward. He was the definition of an ideal man, father, brother, friend and son who always put others before himself. He took pride in being a strong-willed man and was recognized in the community by his unwavering perseverance. He will be fondly remembered as “Pappu”, “Bob” or “Hero” amongst all his family and friends.
It is important to recognize the dedication and support of his beloved wife, Manju; his soulmate. She devoted her life to his happiness and will continue to honor his memories and legacy of love. His loving daughters, Deepti and Nidhi, gave him joy especially through his grandchildren. His youngest daughter Anjali who was truly his real-life angel and supported him through his hardest days. His beloved son Keshav was his best friend, and it was noted in their strong bond, love and care that he always provided for him.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday May 9, 2026, at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral home from 10:00 am-12:00 pm followed by a Shanti Paath from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the Ellice Temple - 854 Ellice Avenue.
