

Bishon Alan Osman “Bishi”, aged 49, passed unexpectedly on April 20, 2023 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was the son of the late Sam Osman. Bishi is survived by his loving mother, Selochnie Osman and devoted siblings, Anna Naraine (the late Richard), Ian Osman (Pravitta), Donna Maria Sumar (Banks) and Bryon Osman. He also leaves behind his niece, Angelika Howerton (Daniel) and nephews, Darius Naraine, Michael Sumar (Yalissa), Devin Sumar, Arvin Osman and Amar Osman.
Bishi was born in Georgetown, Guyana in 1973 and moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1993. He was always known for his warm, kind heart and fun-loving spirit. Always happy to entertain, Bishi enjoyed hosting family and friends for any occasion and was known as the life of the party.
Bishi was mechanically inclined and an incredibly hard worker that was dedicated to his company and employees at Motor Coach Industries, Ltd. Bishi’s knowledge within his trade showed in his passion and love of cars as a car enthusiast and mechanic.
Bishi aspired to eventually relocate to Florida, as he always enjoyed spending time relaxing in the sun and finding peace near the water.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 30th at 2:00 pm (Central), followed by an on-site reception at Thomson “In The Park” Funeral Home, located at 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg. To view the service online, select "Livestream" below.
