Daniel Stephan Roscoe

His 30+ year working life in IT at UofM was book-ended by two honours degrees, a BSc and a BFA. Both were memorable adventures.

In real life, he was a much loved husband, father, and brother. He cheerfully answered to Uncle Dan, Danny, Hey You, Roscoe, or Cowboy Santa. But his favourite moniker was Dad. He was adored by dogs, accepted by cats, and a companion to many small creatures. He was an artist, storyteller, cook, teacher, and especially, a good friend. As kind a man as you could hope to meet.

The family thanks the staff of HSC wards WRS 3 and 2 for their care. Dan particularly appreciated the cheerful cleaners.

A memorial gathering will be scheduled in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to an animal rescue.
