

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dilbar Singh Pandher on Friday, November 21st, 2025. Husband, father, and grandfather, his legacy lives on in his wife Harinder Pal Kaur Pandher, his three children: Navneet Kaur Jawanda, Kirandeep Kaur Pandher, Jaskaran Singh Pandher, son-in-law Abhinit Singh Jawanda, and his beloved grandson, Sobha Singh Jawanda.
He was also greatly loved by his three siblings: Baljinder Thindh (Ajit), Shingara Pandher (Paramjit), and Sikander Pandher (Maninder). His memory will be cherished by his nieces and nephews: Rupinder Gill (Rajinder), Satwinder Thindh (Apneet), Gurminder Thindh (Manbir), Raminder Pandher, Varinder Pandher (Navjeet), Jaspreet Brar (Dharmpal), Amanpreet Pandher, and Davinder Pandher, and his grand nieces & nephews: Saajan Gill, Suman Gill, Ajooni Thindh, Samar Thindh, Raya Pandher, and Rehan Pandher.
Born in Dhoul Khurd, Punjab, India, Dilbar immigrated to Canada in October 1985, where he spent the remainder of his life. Despite the distance, his childhood home was never far from his heart. He travelled back regularly, keeping a close connection with all his loved ones there.
Dilbar will be remembered for his generous spirit, playful nature, and unwavering commitment to his community. A source of wisdom, strength, and love for all those around him, his impact will be greatly missed.
Our family takes solace in the fact that Dilbar is now surrounded by those that predeceased him: his father, Bhag Singh Pandher, his mother, Gurdev Kaur Pandher, and his aunts and uncles. Although gone in body, the essence of his spirit lives on in all those that knew and loved him.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, followed by Bhog at Guru Nanak Darbar, 900 McLeod Ave at 2:00 PM.
