With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Don, on February 14th, 2014.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Anna and his beloved son Scott, Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Margaret, his children Leslie, Garry (Margaret) and Linda (Tom), daughter-in-law Donna, and grandchildren Laura (Kyle), Dana (Justin), and Carson.
Don was born on February 24, 1927. Life’s most important things to Don were his family, his sports, especially hockey, and travel but his favorite place in the world was Brereton Lake.
A memorial service for Don will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21st at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba.
