Eric Anhalt

On Friday, December 16, 2011 at Victoria Hospital, Eric Anhalt of Winnipeg died at the age of 86.

He was predeceased by his wife Adalina, & son Richard.

He is survived by 2 brothers Paul(Mary), Fred(Susan), & sister Melinda; 1 daughter Rosemarie, son Ryan, son Paul(Kim); 4 granddaughters Crissie, Rebecca(Brendan), Sarah(Darryl), & Alyssa; 3 grandsons Ryan Jr.(Jen), Stephen(Shanna), & David; 4 great-granddaughters Jenay, Katie, Kara, & Sierra; and 1 great-grandson Josh.

He was born on November 26, 1925 in Wolinegan, Poland. He was baptized in 1967 in the Mission Baptist Church. He worked hard and provided for his family, working as a self-employed contractor. The majority of his evening was spent looking after his son Richard, until his death in 2002. Eric stayed in his beloved home in Charleswood that he built until a year ago, when his health began to fail. The past year he resided in the Riverwood Square, where he was looked after by the caring and loving staff.

Funeral service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home on Wedensday, December 21, 2011 at 1:00pm with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
