Eric Thomas Calrow

Eric Thomas Calrow left this earth on December 5, 2015 to join his parents, Eric and Mary Rose Calrow. He leaves to mourn his wife of thirty-nine years, Margaret, his daughter, Cathleen Plettl (Chad), his sons Eric and Gregory (Janet), numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Eric was the only child born to Eric and Mary on August 25, 1947 in Regina, Saskatchewan but was raised in rural Manitoba. He graduated with a grade twelve from Nelson McIntyre Collegiate in Norwood and with a Bachelor of Arts and Education from the University of Manitoba. He went on to teach in rural Manitoba (Fisher River First Nations, Melita, and the Swan River area), work with the mentally challenged in Swan River and Winnipeg, taught Driver’s Education to high school students in Swan River and Winnipeg and drove school bus for First Bus and Winnipeg School Division.

Funeral services will be a Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberley Ae, Winnipeg on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Pastors Courtenay Reedman Parker and Bruce Gelhorn Presiding. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
