Merle was predeceased by her husband Orval Hill in 2006. She will be sadly missed by her children Claudette, Jamie (Marilyn), Dawn (Darren) and Jody; her sister Mavis; grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Merle enjoyed roller skating, fishing, camping, and loved to do crafts. Merle also loved collecting salt and pepper shakers.
She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date.
