Georgette Rose Marie Anderson

She is predeceased by her late husband, Sargent Lyle E. Anderson, sons, James Patrick and Terrence George.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Marie Schott (nee Anderson). Her three grandchildren, Christian Lee and his wife Madison, and granddaughter, McKenna Patricia, and Adam Lyle and his partner Mandy T. and Shaun James, and his fiancé, Britney B. and grand daughter Emily Rose. She will be graciously missed.

Georgette was a strong willed, energetic person, a loving mother and wife. She was a nurse at the ST. Boniface Hospital and later worked at the Red Top Restaurant on St. Mary’s Road as well as a land lady at her apartment. She was very talented, loved playing the piano, guitar and singing. She loved dancing with my dad, at the Fort Garry Hotel, along with enjoying gardening. She collected stamps and coins, on her quiet times and was an amazing cook.

Georgette loved her grandchildren deeply and thought of them often. Sadly, for many health reasons, she couldn’t be present for most of the family events or meet her great grandchildren, but I know, she will always be in all our hearts, and watching over us. I love you dearly Mom.
