Helen Allen Cochlan

Helen passed away peacefully at the age of 103.

She was predeceased by her parents and sister Margaret.

Helen was born in Alberta and was raised in Fort Frances, Ontario where her father spent the remainder of his career with CIBC as the Branch Manager. Helen followed in his footsteps and joined CIBC in 1941 in Toronto, and she eventually moved to Winnipeg.

Helen held various positions throughout her long career at CIBC and made many lifelong friends. She retired as Personnel Officer in Human Resources in 1985.

Helen was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for many years. She spent her last remaining years at Golden Links Lodge Personal Care Home where she received excellent care.

Helen has been cremated and will be laid to rest in the Riverwood Cemetery in Fort Frances with her family.

There will be a small celebration of a long life well lived, at a later date. Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery at 1291 McGillivray Blvd. is in care of arrangements.

Donation may be made in Helen’s Memory to a charity of choice or the Salvation Army.
