Mrs. Irene Stewart Craig

December 15, 1925 - May 30, 2012

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Irene Craig (nee Stewart) on May 30, 2012, at the age of 86.

Irene was predeceased by her husband David, of 58 years and will be greatly missed by her children, Brad (Joanna), Lori Fenn (John), Janis Harms (Harry), and Scott (Bernice), her grandchildren Michael (Natalie), Melissa (Kurtis), David (Danielle), Lindsay, Devan, Jordan (Keeley), Lisa, Matthew and Mary, and great granddaughter, Emily. Also mourning her passing is her sister, Margaret Maxwell and family.

Irene treasured her times with family and friends. She created a happy home filled with warmth, love, hospitality, guidance, and laughter. Her strength and determination have been an inspiration to all of us. Irene was respected and dearly loved by all who knew her; she leaves a void that will be impossible to fill.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8 at 10:30 at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.
