Jeffrey Winston McKay

Jeff was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and lived in Wolseley area of Winnipeg most of his young life. There he made many friends who he kept for his lifetime.

Jeff will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mom Terrie (Greengrass); his Dad Louis Tavares; his biological father Rudy McKay; his children Jeffrey Jr., Alyssa, Ashlie, Amber, Jewels and Gavin; his grandchildren Brooklyn, Jackson, Noah, McKenzie and Micheala. He also leaves behind his siblings Alex, Peter (Sherri), Carlos (Cathy), Lisa as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Especially his special friends Amanda and Anthony who strived to make his final months bearable for him, which they did.

Jeff was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his “Vavo and Vavu”. Jeff also lost his infant granddaughter Apollo.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.

Jeff we will miss you for the rest of our lives, until we meet again rest peacefully, no more pain for you.
