Jennifer Simonne Jackson-Jones

On Aug. 8th, 2015 at St. Boniface General Hospital Jennifer was suddenly taken from us at 63 years young. She is predeceased by her parents Adrienne & Albert, her sister Sandra and many beloved pets. She is remembered by her cherished daughters Brittany & Jessica Jones, her partner Winston Anders, her brothers Malcolm (Carol) & Bob (Michele), nephews Cheney (Krystal) & Travis, niece Ainsley, her great nieces & nephew, and beloved dogs Molly, Finnegan & Pyper.

Jennifer was a treasured mother, sister, aunt & friend. She was also a Speed Skater in the 1972 Sapporo (Japan) Olympics, track & field champion, avid skier on both snow & water, Registered Nurse, animal lover & advocate, dedicated U of M student, Local business entrepreneur, outdoor enthusiast and was happiest when adventuring with family.

Jennifer's loving perspective, natural care-taking abilities, willingness to help anyone & amazing sense of humor will be missed by many.

The family expresses gratitude to the SBGH Cardiac Team & all those who cared for Jennifer.

A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 15th, 2015 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, located at 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to no kill animal shelters in Manitoba.
