With a heavy heart and deepest sorrow, my beloved husband Leon passed away peacefully on December 19th , 2012.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 29 years: Ruth, three sons: Paul and wife Sharon, Guy and family and Larry and family. Three sisters: Lucille Cooke of Selkirk MB, Delia Zalucky of Winnipeg, Yvette Bonneau of Coquitlam BC. Two brothers: Robert Lussier of Winnipeg MB, Roland Lussier of Edmonton AB, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and all of the Mead family.
Leon’s working career was at the Winnipeg School Division #1, where he retired in 1994 after 40 years of service.
Leo was predeceased by his daughter Barbara Lussier and his parents Ernest and Bertha.
Paul, Sharon, Nichol, Danielle and Paul Jr. had a very special bond with Leo & Ruth by always being there for them.
Leo had a special place in his heart for his long time friend and companion: his cat Tayo.
A private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Renal Clinic at HSC.
