1927 - 2013

Joyce lived a wonderful life filled with love, laughter and courage. She leaves family and many friends all better for knowing her.

Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her husband Roy, her daughters Kim Welsh (Bruce) & Keri Oliver (Geoff). Nanny will always be loved by her grandchildren, Aynsley (Stephen), Andrea (Branden), Bryn, Cameron (Caroline) and her four “Greats” Jace, Hudson, Rhys and Shea. Joyce will also be missed by her dear sister-in-law Barb & her niece and nephew Dana & Jeff and their families.

Joyce loved curling, golfing, traveling, the Saturday crossword, playing cards, line dancing, entertaining, a great party, the occasional rye & 7, Victoria Beach and everything her grandchildren did! She was an amazing cook, a fabulous baker and there were always cookies to be had at The Light House. Joyce developed lifelong friendships with people of all ages.

A gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.

Donations in Joyce’s memory can be made to The Alzheimer Society Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.

Joyce had a warm laugh & loved to tease.

She was a wonderful, gracious lady and will be missed beyond words. xo
