It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly on March 18, 2011.

After months of treatment, and far too soon at the age of 50, Kelly succumbed to cancer. While her body may have given up, I know that the multitude of people who regularly visited her at the Health Science Center during her last days, would agree that her spirit NEVER diminished. Kelly was a person who loved life and laughter, her family and friends, as well as ALL animals but especially horses.

She will forever be lovingly remembered by her mom Constance Allen; dad Ronald Allen; husband Mark LeClaire; daughter Ashley (Adam) Beazley; son Steven Kastenschmidt; grandchildren Dakota & Joshua Beazley; and brother Brooks (Wanda) Allen.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Home on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kelly’s memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 9Z9 or to a charity of your choice.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
