Kenneth James Chase

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our father and Boppa, Ken Chase, on December 23, 2025.

Ken was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, our mother and Nan, Margaret, who passed away in October of this year.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Kyla (Jason) and Stacee (Shawn), and his five grandchildren—his absolute pride and joy—Tayler (Noah), Jordan, Hayden (Dean), Riley, and Logan.

Ken spent most of his life on the family farm just outside Brunkild, Manitoba, where he was raised. Farming was more than a livelihood—it was who he was. Even after selling the farm and land, he continued to help friends in the fields for many years. He later worked for the RM of Macdonald until his retirement.

Ken found joy in the simple things: driving the country roads, checking on farmers’ fields, taking his dog out for a run, and spending time with his family. He was a constant presence at the hockey rink and ball diamond, proudly cheering on his grandchildren and supporting them in everything they did.

Ken was the very best dad and Boppa. His love, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A come-and-go Celebration of Life will be held on January 20, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Caisse Community Centre in La Salle, Manitoba.
