A year ago today   you were taken away from us.  You are forever in our hearts. We miss you so much.

Lana.....you certainly have touched many people in your life...including mine. What a joy it was to be your pitcher for too many years to count. Your laughter was contagious , your smile infectious and your devotion  unsurpassable!

Lana, even though I did not get the opportunity to meet you in person, you had that effect on me as if I had known you for years. Your warm welcoming voice with every phone call made us know that whatever our issue was you would fix it “Not a Problem”. Your willingness to help us and your bubbly personality is what we will always remember you by.  We appreciate all that you did for us and will surely miss you.

To all of lanas freinds and co workers i know she is so proud of all of you for the freindship and support that you have showed. For those of you who know the Johny Cash cd storie tried it sat morning and would not work.Lana i will miss you so much Breakfast will never be the same or those phone calls to the lake to tell us you were on your way be there in 1hour and a 1/2 and finnaly get there 6 hours later saying sorry i ran into so and so. Lana this is not good bye for i know you will be watching over all the special people in your life.

It has been many years since SAAN stores,but I remember Lana as a very special lady,always very helpfull, & outgoing. In reading all the tributes, they say it all. Here's hopping the family finds comfort in knowing others care, for in this time of your sorrow, friends and loved ones will be there for you.

We always wait until it's too late!
Saturday morning curling memories I will always carry with me. You have been helping me with Retek since the day we met. I am sure your name will come up for many good reasons with many good people for many years to come. Thank you Lana.

Lana... I know we didn't see each other in quite a while, but you will be remembered as the big sister I never had, and I'm sure there were times way back when in Carman that Michele and I got on your last nerve when we were kids. More than once you got mad at us for going in your room or listening to your records.  Be at peace, Lana. My thoughts are with Michele and Rick and their families.

Lana … we didn't get the chance to meet in person, but your helpfulness and kindness was highly appreciated. You had a genuine demeanor about helping others that even transcend thousands of miles and were felt many times over the telephone and via emails.

Lana, you have been a mentor, co-worker and friend for more than a decade and I already feel a terrible loss with your absence that seems so unreal. I will miss that big smile and the bear hugs that went with it, but you leave me with many great memories that I will hold forever.

Lana….we didn't get to see one another every day at work once I transferred to the WLSC. I didn't get the chance to tell you in person how much you have meant to me all of these years.

You were my first ‘boss' in an office environment. You interviewed me for a job within Inventory Control for SAAN stores. I was 18 years old. My Mom told me after that interview (because I gushed about wanting to work with you) that if I wanted that job, I had to call you every day until you hired me…so I did. I'm sure to this day, that you only hired me to stop me from calling you. That was back in 1988!

You and I did not always agree on how things should go. Once in a while you and I got angry with one another-but I know it was because we both cared enough to get angry.

What I learned from you is that we can disagree with someone and still want them to succeed. We can voice our disagreement and still care about the person. Work is work, and play is play…and girl, you knew how to both very well.

I enjoyed curling with you, working with you, and sharing a drinky-pooh once in a while. I will likely never eat a nacho platter or drink a coffee and baileys again and not think of you Lana. 

I will miss you.

Dear Lana, let there be many windows in your soul that all the glories of the universe may beautify it. We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us really happy is something to be enthusiastic about. Thank you for sharing your energetic enthusiasm of life with us. You are missed and your spirit lives on!

Lana was a warm hearted person who loved to put a smile on peoples face. I remember her as a dedicated co-worker who cared deeply for the people she worked with. My dear sister Lana, I am going to miss you so much especially on May 25 as we have celebrated 53 of them together. You are now in a better place, no more suffering. Rest in peace my dear sister...
