Mario Salvatore Chiappetta

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at Grace Hospital, Mario Chiappetta our beloved Papa, after courageously battling many health issues, has passed away at the age of 91.

Mario will be remembered by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Maria Chiappetta, his daughter Rosa (Santino), his son Francesco (Jennifer), his daughter Paola (Perry), and his son Pierluigi. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, Danny (Jenna), Joshua, Alec, Mariah (Scott), Darian (Ryan), Zachary (Reva), Sabrina (Nicholas), Luca, Addison, Nicolas, and Leah, 4 great grandchildren Silas, Mila, Mona, and Nash, his brother Ettore (Sheryl), sister-in-laws Gina and Olive, and brother-in-law Biagio (Lucille), and many nieces, nephews, and relatives along with many friends.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of our beloved Papa. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and loved us all deeply and unconditionally. Family was the most important thing to him, and he cherished being surrounded by us. Spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him immense joy. Nothing brought him greater joy than gathering around the dinner table with all of his family, sharing stories, laughing and at times playing scopa. He will be fondly remembered for his unwavering love and devotion to his wife, his family, his loyalty to friends, and his ability to make anyone laugh with his witty sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing him.
