Peacefully following a brief illness, it is with sadness that we announce the passing of Melvin L. Price on June 30, 2025 at St Boniface Hospital, age 73, with all family by his side.
He is survived by his wife Sharon, sons Nathan and Evan, brother Alf Bonwick (Jessie), SIL Lucie Germaniuk, nieces Darcy (John), Jen (Pete), Kyla (Rene), and nephew Michael (Faye), and their families.
He was predeceased by son Jason Michael, Mother Helen, Father Alfred and BIL Jim Germaniuk.
Get togethers with family and friends were very important to Mel. He enjoyed going fishing, playing cards and games with those that visited. I would like to mention that Mel had a special friendship with Albert of whom gave him comfort near his passing.
Melvin was employed at Price Ltd. for 44 years as a Master Crafter and welder. He provided his coworkers with a wealth of knowledge and was liked by all.
Funeral service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home 1897 Henderson Highway on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Lunch to follow. Interment following the lunch at Green Acres (1 Green Acres Lane by Tinker Town) for those who wish to come.
In lieu of flowers, donation in Melvin's honour can be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation.
