Forever Loved and Never Forgotten...

After two courageous battles with cancer, our dear Michelle is finally at peace with our heavenly father. She was predeceased by her father (Alex) and will be sadly missed by her loving mother (Susan), sister (Pat & husband Jim), precious nephews (Jamie & Paul). Michelle was born November 13, 1963. She grew up in Transcona and resided there until her passing. Her very first job was working in the dietary at St. Boniface Hospital. There she made lasting friendships. Academically, she graduated from Transcona Collegiate and proceeded on taking a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology at the University of Manitoba, a computer programming course at Red River Community College and was later employed at U.G.G. Her final place of employment was at St. Boniface Hospital in the Health Records Department. Michelle was a kind and selfless soul with a deep faith in our Lord. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She had many interests and was an avid Blue Bombers fan. She travelled throughout Canada, parts of the U.S., Europe and even traced her roots back to Ireland. Many thanks to ALL who partook in Michelle’s care: (Dr. Valarie, Gordon/Karen, Dr. B. Kowaluk/Heather, Palliative Home Care Team, Unit 4B St Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg Fire Department and Paramedics) and to all our family and friends for their love, support and prayers throughout this difficult journey. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Cancer Foundation or The Blessed Sacrament Parish Building Fund, 710 Roanoke Street Winnipeg, MB - R2C 0K9

God gives every person their own unique song- It's one that will play their entire life long, through the love that they give and the gifts that they share, through the memories they make and the dreams that they dare.
It's a song filled with beauty and day-to-day grace, that plays through until they see God, face to face. A song that is heard in the heart, loud and clear. A song, if we listen, we'll always still hear.
What a beautiful way to celebrate Michelle through the song she lived, and the song that you will carry forever in your heart.
God Bless.

Our family's sincere condolences to Michelle's family during this tremendously sad time! It was always a pleasant surprise bumping into Michelle and Susan at our various coffee stops. I have such great respect for Michelle and her family for the faith, grace and strength demonstrated during this trial. There is now a star in the Heavens shining brighter than all the others! Amen and amen!

Sincerest condolences to Michelle’s family. I am very sad to learn of her passing. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle at St. Boniface Hospital. She was a very smart and hard working lady. She could remember the littlest detail from something years before. we Often went to her for answers because you knew she would have a little note on the subject tucked away somewhere. Out of all our work manuals, policies and procedures etc. Michelle was the best coder’s resource out there. She was unique and reserved. I loved when she broke out of her shell! Didn’t happen often, but when she did, it was great!
