It is with deep sadness that the Bector family wishes to share that Rajinder (Raj) Bector passed away on February 22, 2026, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Rajinder was born on January 16th, 1943, in Dhandra (Punjab), India. He is the son of the late Khushi Ram and Laxmi Bector. Rajinder married the love of his life, Kailash, in 1969. While they lived a significant portion of their shared life together in India, they also spent many decades in Canada. Together, they recently celebrated fifty-six years of marriage and could often be found laughing together, serving others, and loving their family around them.
Rajinder was also a devoted and kind brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many. He is predeceased by his brother, and sisters: Ram Parkash (B. Bector), Leila (B. Dhir), Krishna (R. Jaidka ), and Santosh (S. Puri). In addition to being survived by his wife, he is survived by his brothers Chhajju (Meena) and Mohinder Pal (Pushpa). Many other close relatives will also mourn the loss of Rajinder including nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
Those who knew Rajinder well, knew he loved gardening, had a kind and generous nature, and was a wonderful neighbour to those around him. He will always be remembered with a smile on his face, a hug for a family member and his down-to-earth good-natured heart. May you rest in God’s care now, dear Rajinder. We love you and will miss you.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:00 am at Thomson In The Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Winnipeg, Manitoba.
