She is survived by her daughter Linda Elsa Cano Fabros. She was predeceased by her husband Aniceto "Ani" Cano and son Ferdinand "Ding" Cano.
Caring was born in Naguilian, La Union, Philippines on December 30, 1933 and arrived in Winnipeg, MB, Canada on April 27, 1980 with her husband Ani. They loved the outdoors, went fishing as their recreation, and also became members of the Filipino Seniors Group. Caring loved to crochet and worked around the house, watching TFC, unfortunately she didn't get to watch the final episode of her favorite "Ang Probinsiyano".
Lamay will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 6:00 pm until 12:00 am at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday March 4, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony de Padua Parish, 250 Burrin Avenue with Father Dominic Yuen the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery, with reception at La Merage Restaurant, 99 Isabel Street.
