Our Reverend Bibi Ji passed away March 14, 2014 at Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg.
Bibi Ji is survived by her son Tejwant S. Kahlon (Devinder Kaur), daughter Kulwant Kaur Sandhu (Rajinder S. Sandhu), nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Bibi Ji was predeceased by her husband Bal Singh Kahlon and son Baljit S. Kahlon (Gurinder Kaur).
Bibi Ji was born in Village Dhey, now in Pakistan, and immigrated to Canada to join her family in 1981. She adjusted very well to the new atmosphere and enjoyed her life in Winnipeg. Bibi Ji will be missed not only by her family members, but also her friends and neighbors.
Funeral Services will be held at 2: 00 p.m. on Saturday March 22, 2014 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
Following the funeral service will be the Bhog of Akhand Path at 4: 30 p.m. at the Gurdwara Singh Sabha, 4000 Sturgeon Road.
