Passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the age of 74 years.
She was born to the late Frank and Nellie Lisowski on October 3, 1936 in Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her beloved husband Victor Ostir of 55 years; three sons and their wives, Gary (Anita), Glenn (Ivonne) and Grant (Devon); brother Edward (Louise) Lisowski; six grandchildren, Jasmine, Haley, Brennan, Keaton, Hayden and Sydney; and numerous family members and special friends.
In accordance with Shirley’s wishes, a private service was held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation in Shirley’s name be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7.
