It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic death of our brother Tyler James Carlson on September 2, 2010 at the age of 48 years.
He was predeceased by his father Arthur and mother Hilda.
Tyler leaves to mourn his brothers Doug, Len, Ron, sister Diana and husband Andy as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also left behind are Tyler’s many lifelong friends that he cherished dearly.
The youngest of 5 children, Tyler was born February 3, 1962 in Winnipeg. He grew up on the family farm in Meadows Manitoba. The family moved to Charleswood in 1976 where Tyler continued school. After high school, Tyler went to work in a sulphur mine in Edson, Alberta. When he was injured he had to return to Winnipeg for recovery and rehabilitation. He eventually went back to college to pursue a career in drafting.
Tyler enjoyed fishing and spent many hours in his boat in the summer and on the ice in the winter. He was extremely knowledgeable in computers and could fix any problem and was always willing to help others.
Tyler will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
