Zdravka was a truly wonderful person.   I sat near her when she worked at Great-West Life.   We had lots of laughs, great conversations, and she was always very caring.

I remember at the GWL Christmas Dinner she wore a really amazing dress.  I found out it was actually her graduation dress that she wore and wasn't quite sure if it was the right thing.  When I complemented her on her incredible dress her smile just lit up the whole room.

Dear Irena, Tatjana, and Slobodan, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Zdravka's passing.  I worked with her when she came to Great-West Life and was immediately struck by what a warm and sweet soul she was.  I still recall how she smiled when talking about her family, especially her daughters.  Your mother was a wonderful lady, whose courage and strength in coming to Canada still amazes me.  My deepest condolences on your loss, she will be remembered very fondly.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I had the pleasure of working with Zdravka for about 15 years.  I always enjoyed our conversations on a wide variety of topics, from politics to entertainment.  She will be greatly missed!

My condolences to you on the passing of your wife&mother Zdravka.   I worked with Zdravka at GWL in Investment Financial Reporting. Dear Irena, Tatjana, Slobodan, My sincerest condolences. Zdravka never missed wishing us Happy Christmas and Happy Easter. She shared with us  our family tree - how we’re related through our grandmother.  When I was in  Winnipeg, where I also met grandmother Nada, Zdravka was very proud of her daughters, and invited me to a dance recital. I’m so sorry for your loss. Baka Olga sends her condolences.

I had the pleasure of meeting Zdravka at St. Gianna’s church.  We served on a committee together. I always admired how gently she cared for her mother, and how fondly she spoke of her daughters.

Zdravku smo poznavali od prvog dana kada je stigla u Kanadu i ostace u sjecanju lijepa druzenja, dugi telefonski razgovori, njen vedri duh. Divna osoba .

We are still in shock that our Zdravka moved to another world so suddenly. Destiny is not fair and it is very sad that she didn’t have a chance to spend many more lovely moments with her family and friends, to enjoy the nature that she loved so much and to visit some parts of the planet that she wanted and planned for in the near future. This farewell photo of her surrounded by flowers only confirms that nature was her real friend. We like to believe that longer life is given to those who are just as Zdravka was, strong, courageous, intelligent and curious. Her destiny, unfortunately, had some different plans but the memories are there forever. Let’s remember Zdravka as a dedicated mother who brought up two beautiful and very successful daughters, loyal wife and great daughter to her mother. Very touching memories and warm words coming from all over the world tell us how loved and respected she was.

Zdravkina smrt je došla kao šok za sve nas.  Upoznali smo Zdravku kad smo svi došli u Kanadu.  Zdravka i Slobodan su podigli dve brilijantne ćerke Irenu i Tatjanu.  
Tatjana koja je rastući uz našu decu i Kuma našoj unuci Ivi uvek bila i ostaje u našem životu i srcu.
Žao nam je za veliki gubitak porodici Trebić.

Dragi Trebici, sa nevjericom sam primila vijest da moje rodice Zdravke vise nema. U posljednje vrijeme smo se cesto cule i ona mi je rekla da je Slobodan, njen suprug otisao u posjetu njihovoj kcerci u Vankuver.  Laka je zemlja bila a njeoj porodici upucemo moja porodica i ja izraze iskrenog saucesca.

She was present for many playdates/gettogethers I shared with her daughter, Irena.  What an incredibly kind and lively individual. 
Perpetually incredibly supportive of our academic endeavors. 
I'll never forget her admiration for live performances. Zdravka would always describe the best show as "PHENOMENAL" and I'll always think of her when I hear that term.

Svi smo još uvijek šokirani da se naša Zdravka preselila na drugi svijet tako iznenadno. Nepravedno od sudbine i tuzno da nije imala šansu da provede još puno lijepih trenutaka sa familijom i prijateljima, da uživa u prirodi koju je toliko voljela i da posjeti kutke planete koje je željela i planirala u skoroj budućnosti. Ova njena oproštajna fotografija, na kojoj je okružena cvijećem, samo potvrđuje da joj je priroda bila prijatelj vijerni. Uvijek vjerujemo da je duži vijek podaren onima koji su bas kao sto je Zdravka bila, vrlo snažna, borbena, inteligentna i znatiželjna. Sudbina je, nažalost, imala druge planove ali sjećanja su vječna. Pamtimo Zdravku kao požrtvovanu majku koja je odgojila dvoje divne i vrlo uspješne djece, vijernu suprugu i odanu kćerku. Divna sjećanja i tople rijeci porodice i prijatelja sirom planete govore koliko je bila voljena i poštovana.

I have known Zdravka for a short time. It was my pleasure to spend some time and get to know her. She had a sense of humor and liked to laugh. I am grateful to her, for raising an amazing daughter-in-law for me. At this sad time,  my sincerest sympathies to her husband Slobadan, daughters Tatjana and Irena, son- in -law Wayne and all her relatives and friends in Canada and abroad. RIP Zdravka.

Sherna and I were jolted at the news of the passing of Zdravka. This is a big loss indeed. 

To put it succinctly, Sdravka was a force. We were always so impressed with her deep insights and thoughtful explanations on a variety of topics. She was deliberate in whatever she said. She had a perspective on many matters that never occurred to us. What we really respected about her was her willingness to dive into a new life and in a foreign culture and make the most of this opportunity, presented to her under very difficult circumstances. Most of all, what really stood out for us in Sdravka's life was her total commitment to her children and her efforts to assist them in whatever way she could to make their lives easier and better.  She was a remarkable woman.

We have known Zdravka and Slobodan and family for many years and we were neighbours for a long time. We cherish our many walks with them and reminiscing about life back home. Zdravka was an avid traveller, explorer 
 opera goer and lover of art. She was always very lively and we had many stimulating conversations. Zdravka was a critical thinker and had many pithy comments. She was a citizen of the world.  She was a devoted wife and mother and very proud of her girls and their many accomplishments. She was unique and will be missed. May she rest in peace. Pocivaj u miru. Porodica Kon. Family Kon.

I am so sad and empty without my dear Zdravka. So many years of nice conversations, laughter....incoherent thoughts and suddenly everything disappears, but your image and voice will follow me forever. I felt so much wealth knowing you from our Energoinvest, and this has been going on for about 40 years. Our friendship could have lasted and lasted but your sudden departure happened. Dear Zdravka, you remain in my fond and unforgettable memory.
