Annie H. Robbins

Annie Helen Mowell Robbins, 96, passed away on October 4, 2016 at Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, the Reverend and Mrs. J.H.Mowell, 2 sisters, Mary Morton and Henrietta Acree and 1 brother, Lamar Mowell.

Helen was born on April 14, 1920 to John Henry and Lillie Mae Pitts Mowell in Emory, Georgia. Helen was a charter member of Old Town Baptist Church where she served in many capacities throughout the years. She was a 27 year resident of Brookridge Baptist Retirement Home . She loved Bingo and spending time with her many friends there.

Helen is survived by her children; John, of Clemmons,NC; Don of Charlotte, NC; Marty of Pfafftown,NC ; Linda Bohland of Pfafftown, NC; Robert (Pam) of Randleman, NC and Robin Fox(Gary) of Huntersville,NC; 1 sister, Ruth Brooks ; Brother-in-laws Marvin Acree and Tom Morton,all of Georgia: 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other loved ones and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 9th at 2pm at Old Town Baptist Church, 4386 Shattalon Dr. Winston-Salem. Dr. Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home or Old Town Baptist Church.
