Betty Jo Tedder Wallace

Betty was born on October 13, 1933 to Beulah and William Ernest Tedder in Farmington, NC. One of eleven children, she attended South Fork school in Forsyth County. In 1950, she married Ernest Wallace Jr. of Wadesboro. NC. They had two daughters. In 1954, she began working for Western Electric. After Ernest passed in 1981, she began traveling with a friend, exploring the country and attending square dances. She retired in 1986 after over 30 years with Western Electric. She married Howard Wolfe in 1988 and they continued to travel with friends and family until his passing in 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, two husbands and her grandson, Tony Snowden. She is survived by her daughters; Bonita Wallace and Linda (Mike) Miller; grandchildren Tina (Carlton) Cole, Brian (Kim) Miller, Chrisy Miller, and Nita Caldwell; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Betty will be entombed at Crestview Memorial Park on Monday, April 7th at 11am.
