Jim grew up in Connecticut, later attending Providence College, where he majored in accounting and played football. He became a CPA / financial advisor, owning several companies for many years.
A lifelong New York Giants fan, Jim had a fantastic sense of humor and enjoyed playing video games, but his greatest loves were his roles as husband and father.
Jim was actively involved in greyhound rescue organizations, voluntarily working as the treasurer for W.A.G (We Adopt Greyhounds) as well as personally adopting 15 greyhounds over 30 years.
In addition, Jim was active in his church, creating a Bingo program and voluntarily advising parishioners on making successful retirement decisions.
Jim leaves behind Eileen, his wife of 22 years, as well as two children, Jamie and Justin, sister Danielle, mother Sandra and numerous other family members, colleagues and friends.
A kind and loving person, Jim would always put the needs of others before his own. His heart will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The American Heart Association, as fits Jim’s wish to help others.
