Mr. Jess Charles McDaniel Jr.

Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by his parents Jess Grant McDaniel Sr., Ethel Gordon, and Dave Gordon; brother Eddie McDaniel; sisters Louise and Irene McDaniel.

Surviving family includes his wife of thirty years, Carolyn Rutledge McDaniel; children Bobby Rutledge, Debbie McDaniel, Jeff Moore, Judy Armstrong, Donna Moore, Donny Martin, Cathy Billings, Danny McDaniel; grandchildren Mark McDaniel, Angela Burgess, Tracy Custer, Robert Armstrong III, Kaitlan Baity, Tray Rutledge, Hunter Moore, Nathen Moore, Christina Rutledge, Miranda Rutledge, Melissa baity, Rebecca Baity, Lauren Billings, Chase Rutledge, and Zachery Moore; and twenty great grandchildren; brother Russ Anders; sisters Hazel Anders and Margaret Taylor.

A funeral service, celebrating his life, will be conducted on Friday (May 28th) 2:00 PM at the Vogler Funeral Home Reynolda Chapel, 2951 Reynolda Road (336-722-6106) with Pastor Kyle Hoilman officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will gather with their friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
