Katrina Marsha Dockery

Katrina had a kind and compassionate soul. This kindness was observed over the years in her willingness to assist in raising and caring for generations of children in and close to her family. Her tenderness also, led her into the field of nursing where she was a CNA in a nursing home for over ten years. Katrina was then led to working with Forsyth County Schools at the Special Children’s School.

She was reserved and patient. In her free time, Katrina loved doing crossword puzzles and watching movies on Lifetime. Katrina also loved cooking for her family. Her pound cakes will be missed by anyone who tried them.

Katrina leaves behind her large family: children, Evelyn Dockery, Garland Dockery (Pam), Undrea Dockery, Carla Mouzon, and DeQuinta Pryor (Wayne); grandchildren, Talvin Dockery, Jasmine Maxwell (Josh), Garland Dockery, Jr., Shammond Dockery, Rochelle Wright, Undrea Dockery, Jr., CeDarius Dockery, DeUndre Dockery, Justin Funches, Dreya Dockery, Dae’Coreyan Mouzon, Dae’Kari Mouzon, Willow Pryor, and Wayne Pryor III; great grandchildren, Ga’laiya Dockery, Ezekiel Maxwell, Dariyah Dockery, A’Lanni Martin; long-time companion, James Crawford; close friend, Williette McGriff; many loving siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Though soft spoken, Katrina was well loved and adored. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm with a special presentation at 3pm at Vogler Funeral & Cremations.
