Vivian Lawson McClaugherty

Vivian retired from Sara Lee/Hanes as a comptroller after 44 years with the company. She was a master of all trades and loved everything from cooking to even flying lessons. Vivian was most proud of her work as a professional photographer and a published author.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Dale McClaugherty; her brothers, Larry (Jackie) Lawson, Freddie (Judy) Lawson, Jerry (Sharon) Lawson, Eddie (Leslie) Lawson, Daniel (Rose) Lawson, and Phil Lawson; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A Celebration of Vivian’s Life will take place on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 3pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Vivian’s honor to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House, 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103.
