

Andree-Anna Prevost was born on February 15, 1922 in Jacmel, Haiti from Tericles Prevost and Saintermise Moise. She grew up in La Vallee of Jacmel until she was 9 years old when she joined her father in Bainet to continue her elementary school she started at Saint-Paul congregational school.
Andree grew up to become a very caring person who saw others before herself. She cared a lot for her family members making sure their needs were met. She accepted the Lord as her Savior at a young age. In fact, she was the first person in her immediate family to have accepted Jesus as her personal Savior.
Andree moved to the United States in 1977 and established herself in Stanford, Connecticut. Later, she moved to Providence, Rhode Island and then to Orlando, Florida in 2000 to join her beloved sister, Leonne Lauture. In 2001, she was diagnosed with the Alzheimer’s disease and suffered with it for nearly 12 years before she went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2012.
Andree-Anna was a special person to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

Brother-in-Laws: Vincent Dorvil, Arthur Lauture. She will also be missed by many cousins, nephews, nieces and extended families in Haiti, the United States, the Caribbean, and Europe.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 7 - 9 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 1 at 10 AM in the chapel of Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Winter Garden, FL. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
