Claude M. Dubberly

Claude Maurice Dubberly age 89 of Orlando, FL passed peacefully into eternal life from natural causes on Thursday, February 14th, 2013 in the comfort of his home. This beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend was born to Clyde and Ola McNeil Dubberly of Appling County, GA on April 22, 1923. Claude is survived by his wife Carrol Fisher Dubberly. Claude had 4 children; 1 son Ron Dubberly of Jacksonville Beach, FL, 3 daughters Sherry and (Bob) Mead of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Patsy and (Tim) Spink of Jacksonville, FL, and Tiffeny and (Jeffrey) Myrland of Ocoee Fl. Claude had 15 grandkids; Payton, Francesca, Frank, Makenzie, Jacob, Dylan, Ashton, Christine, Joshua, Jeremy, Joel, Jennifer, Jonathan, Jessica, Julianna, and 5 great grandkids; Bentley, Jordon, Christian, Alden, and Emmy. Claude was one of 12 children; 5 brothers & 4 sisters in law, Cecil E. Dubberly, of Valdosta GA, Manning E Bud and (Beth) Dubberly of Chester VA, Frank and (Jean) Dubberly of Savannah GA, Joe and (Joann) Dubberly of Baxley, GA, and Paul and (Donna) Dubberly of Baxley, GA, 1 brother Leroy Dubberly, deceased, 5 sisters and 3 brothers in law, Louise Johnson, Baxley, GA, Clarice Swinson of Chapen SC, Frances and (Linton) McGlohon of Savannah, GA, Doris and (Don) Dugger of Richmond Hill GA, Pat and (Wally) Moody of Jessup, GA.

Claude was a proud WWII Army Air Force veteran. After serving his country, he went on to his life’s work as a highly skilled Cabinet Maker, where he was owner/operator of several cabinetry businesses in Florida and the Bahamas.

Claude will be greatly missed by those closest to him.
