Corace “Ed” Cross, Jr. 85 of Winter Garden, FL passed away on May 10, 2016. He was born in Dooley County, GA on February 17, 1931. He retired after 30 years of service from Orlando Paving Company. He also served proudly in the US Army. Ed was an excellent horseman, but he really enjoyed being with his family and always had a joke to tell. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Etta Mae Cross in 2015; and by his son, Doug Cross. Ed is survived by his daughters: Cathy Skipper and husband Kenny, Cindy Cross and her partner Ruth Clark; by his sister, Nell Massingail and her husband Grady; his 4 grandchildren and his 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12 from 6 – 8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 13 at 10 AM at the Winter Garden Cemetery, Winter Garden, FL with Pastor Rick Grant officiating.
