Curtis H. Cunningham, 77 of Oakland, Florida passed away on September 19, 2019. He was born on December 7, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia. Curtis accepted Jesus as his Savior 72 years ago and was a devoted Christian and family man. He enjoyed singing and sang in several quartets, school and church choirs. He was also a member of the Three for Him trio. He was a Pastor and also had worked at Disney and the auto auction. He is a member of West Orange Baptist Church in Oakland. He served in the United States Navy as a Radar Maintenance System technician. The joy of his life was being a servant of the Lord and caring for family and friends. Curtis is survived by his beloved wife Jane; his step children: Charles H. Collins, Jr., Keith Collins and wife Drenda, Donald Collins and wife Richele and Melissa Adams and husband Kevin; his brother, William E. Cunningham, Jr. and wife Betty; his 8 step grandchildren and other loving family members and friends.
Services will be held at West Orange Baptist Church in Oakland, Florida. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 24 from 10:00 AM to 11;00 AM with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Tuesday, September 24 at 2:30 PM.
