Mr. George D. Clark

CLARK, GEORGE D. passed away on September 15, 2010. Born in St. Louis, MO, to Andrew and Mildred Clark, he moved to Orlando in 1962. Family and friends were the most important things to him. If you were lucky enough to be a friend, you were considered family. He did not draw a comparison. He was very caring, giving and a loving family man. Sons, brothers and sisters were all blessed by his generosity of spirit and love. George opened Clark Tire and Automotive in Winter Garden in 1986. His pride in the workmanship his shop offered was only equaled by his honesty of service provided. When not at the shop, he was an avid FSU and NASCAR fan. A long time supporter of the FSU Athletics, he traveled weekends to see his team play. George is survived by his loving wife, Terry; sons, Kevin, Brian (Kristi) and Todd; brothers, Jim (Marrianne), Bob (Kathy), Sam (Janet), and Scott and sisters, Donna, JoAnn and Lori; stepfather, Sam, and many nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dogs, Boston and Norma Jean. A memorial service for family and friends is planned for October. Services provided by Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Winter Garden, Florida.
