Jennifer Lyn Jenkins-Perez

Jenni graduated from St. Petersburg College with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology (Clinical). Throughout her career, Jenni worked in veterinary medicine with notable institutions such as Sedgwick County Zoo, The National Aquarium in Baltimore, Winter Park Vet Hospital, AVS, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. She was a proud member of AZVT and had an unwavering passion for animals, her family (including her furry and feathered friends), writing, butterfly gardening, and her love for Grogu (from The Mandalorian).

Jenni married Leo Perez on October 30, 2004. Together, they built a beautiful family that brought her immense joy. Jenni is survived by her loving husband, Leo Perez; daughter, Cecelia (Cece) Perez; son, Gryphon Perez; sister-in-law, Mae Rodriguez; nephew, Jonathan Fowler of Clermont; niece, Angela Fowler (Darian), and grandniece, Alywin Simpson of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by her sister, Allison Jenkins-Moore (David) of Ypsilanti, MI; brother, Jason Jenkins (Chaitayna) of Winter Garden, Florida; and stepmother, Linda Molnar-Jenkins (Roland) of Canton, MI.

A memorial service will be held from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM on April 26, 2025, at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 428 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787.

Jenni's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her compassion for animals, love for her family, and her joyful spirit will never be forgotten.
