Jessie Adele Jackson

Jessie Adele Jackson, 93 of Winter Garden, FL passed away on May 4, 2014. She was born on December 9, 1920 in Hazlehurst, GA. Adele moved to Winter Garden at the age of 1 and attended the New Hope Love of God Church. She was a homemaker and devoted to her God. She had her own church for several years and even preached on the radio. Adele was preceded in death by her husband, Othel D. Jackson on August 14, 2001. She is survived by her children: Mark Jackson, Gene Jackson and Juanita Benefield; her brothers, Lawrence Sanders and Wesley Sanders; her sisters, Helen Powell, Lorene Jones and Mattie Dampler; her 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Grace Street Church of God: 2860 Grace St. Apopka. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7 from 10 to 11 AM with funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
