I am really glad I got to see you the last time I was in Boston. You were my mothers best friend and she said she named me after you. I know the two of you are with Jesus dancing up a storm along with my grandma and brothers. Thank you for helping us when we were kids. May you rest in peace forever.... and much love from me and my two kids to everyone you left behind. You will be forever cherished❤️

Linda, you were the most devoted parent I know.and devoted friend. One of my fondest memories was taking the kids to Long Beach Island  a million years ago. You thought it was important to your kids for you and I to take our kids crabbing under the bridge. We rented a med sized motorized rowboat. I was the newbie and spooked  but you said “I got this”. You not only showed me how to start the motor and operate the boat but also showed me how to drop a line and a trap. I almost had a heart attack when the cooler tipped over and the crabs were all over the boat. Kinda like that Woody Allen movie with the lobster in the kitchen! Then, you made everyone’s day....we boiled water for pasta and sauce and you taught us all how to cook, crack and eat crabs! I look forward to sharing your skills with my grandson! Rest In Peace Linda. My family remembers you with a smile when you were able to share a holiday dinner with us. ❤️

Linda you will be missed! You were so friendly and kind and I will always remember our days at the dog park and you with Sammy who never wanted to leave your side!  I remember our last dinner out with Michele and all the parties we went to with the dog park gang, your sense of humor and the big hug we shared  before you left for Florida ..I know you are in the Lords care, in a glorified body no longer subject to human frailties... My dear loyal friend Linda
She appeared to be quiet mild mannered sweet but I know Linda as a True WONDER WOMAN .supporting her own home over 30 yrs. while raising 2 sons...working as a probation officer..we met st the dog park and she became part of our PACK 
.Having many friends many adventures .sipping shots of Irish cream out of.fresh strawberries.partying around the bonfire..I loved her great sarcastic one liners...I could go on forever about our adventures. And to the end when she went to Florida I surprised her that first week showing up..her first words to me...LETS. SNEAK OUT OF HERE.... I will forever miss you ..I'm glad you transitioned. Back home for you are FREE !!!!!

We worked in Probation and went out to dinner once a month for more than ten years.  We also took trips together but our favorite times were dinner at Linda’s.

Linda and I became close friends when she was my supervisor. I will always cherish the times we had, she made me a better person.  



Top Three Reasons Linda was the most thoughtful person we ever knew:

#3. She wouldn’t let her children go over anyone else’s house empty-handed. You always had to bring something. Its was the considerate thing to do. She would always bring food or gifts for the children as well. 

#2.  The way she would buy something for everyone else but herself.
She would spend countless hours going to garage sales buying dozens of things for everyone she knew. Everywhere she went she thought of somebody else and got something for them to let them know that they were thought of. Everything she bought was for other people without a thought for herself. And she thought of EVERYONE in her life.

#1. The fact that she would give you the shirt off her back.
I’ve seen her give away clothes, food, bicycles and hundreds of dollars in cash. They all belonged to her until somebody else needed it and then she would simply give them away to whomever was in need, without a second thought. 

Linda lived by this principle and tried her hardest to instill it into her children-

“Always consider the other person before you consider yourself”

She was self-less. She was thoughtful. She was generous. And she will always be honored and remembered as such.

Friendship is often a private matter — a link forged between two hearts.  But certain qualities are essential. Linda knew and understood this as evidenced by listening with her heart, through her steadfast support and by being a shining example of unconditional love.
Those of us who were fortunate enough to reside within that circle flourished under watchful eye. 
— Tears, a sense of sorrow and ultimate loss.
But taking a page from Linda’s unwritten journal, life is to be lived and more importantly, loved.  I pray we all do just that.

I met Linda when I moved to Nesconset and lived 2 houses away. I always waved to my neighbors as I walked my dog. During my first few months I had a yard sale and while sitting in my driveway alone, Linda (who always loved going to yard sales) came over and stayed with me the entire day. From that moment on Linda had become my friend and we’re stuck together like glue. She became my older sister and where partners in crime.  She went to my jewelry events and loved to buy even if she didn’t always s wear it. We had fun no matter what we did

Linda was not used to me giving her hugs and kisses whenever I saw her, but eventually got used to it.  I will miss her friendship, companionships, excursions, laughs and cries.  She has a piece of my heart. 

Linda is with me everyday and will never be forgotten. Love and miss you my friend.

Please no flowers. Linda used to donate to the Children’s Hospital of  St. Jude, if you feel you must do something, that’d be a great place to do it.
