Granny,
My heart is broken knowing I won't be able to visit you. I have precious memories of our time together. I loved drinking coffee and just talking with you. You were the most honest and loving person I knew. I'm at peace with you leaving us here on earth, because you told me that you were ready to be with Granddaddy. Knowing that I can smile and see the two of you together and that makes me happy. I'll love you forever. Heaven has another Angel...

Dear Granny: As you have peacefully crossed the veil between here and there, I recall beloved memories from my childhood. Especially when I was a child and sat on your lap. You would tease me and call me fart blossom. You always had a smile for me. And sometimes a tootsie roll. I remember spending time at your house inn Winter Garden, playing with my cousins and laughing when you would make Skippy sing. We would always run across the living room from Butch and jump on the couch for safety. As I grew into an adult and took on adult responsibilities, it became harder and harder to get down there to see you. But I've always loved you and tried to send you cards and goodies during the holidays. As I reflect on the times we shared together I feel blessed to have those memories. You will always be my Granny. Now you look down on me from above. Keeping a watchful eye. I love you, Granny. You will always be in my heart.
