Mavis Moore Smith, age 86, of Astatula, passed away on August 5, 2014. She was born in Morgan County, Ala., in 1928. Her family moved to Winter Garden when she was very young. She attended Winter Garden Elementary School and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1946. She was preceded in death by her brother, Aaron Moore and her twin sister, Irvis Moore. She was married to the late Lewis Paul Smith and they traveled several years thur the United Stares while he worked in Cabelvision. She is survived by her four children, son, David Smith, daughters, Stephanie Harrison and Lisa Bartlett of Astatula and son, Donald Smith of Clermont. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
