

PATSEY L. "PAT" EYER of Clermont, Florida, a beloved wife and mother, died peacefully on June 17 after a brief illness. Pat was born on May 4, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and grew up in Milford, Ohio, and Forest City, Florida. She was a graduate of Lyman High School and studied business at Seminole Community College. She was employed at Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin). Pat had an interest in antiques, doll collecting, and arts and crafts, and became an accomplished, self-taught watercolor artist. She was also known for her well-trained Scottish Terrier pets.
Pat was predeceased by her parents, Millard Eckstein and Florence Marion (Snyder) Eckstein, and her sister, Muriel Ann (Eckstein) Foster. She is survived by her husband, Robert Ellsworth Eyer; her son, Chad Michael Eyer; and her brother, Bruce Eckstein. She leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her.
Her family would like to express their thanks for the wonderful help and care given to Pat by the staff of Caring Hearts Helping Hands and the doctors and nurses at the South Lake Hospital intensive care unit.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11 a.m., at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 574 W. Montrose St., Clermont, with arrangements made by Baldwin Fairchild Winter Garden Funeral Home.
