Susan B. Rousse

"Sue”, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2023. She was born in Albany, NY on January 10, 1943. She raised her children with love and devotion in Southwest Ranches, FL with her husband of 58 years, Robert O. Rousse, who predeceased her in 2022.

Sue made every day special and filled our lives with love and laughter. She was a loving mom who loved making memories with her children and grandchildren. She was proud of her family and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World, the Florida Keys, Hawaii, Ireland, New York, and always loved returning to Vermont where she grew up. We will always remember her as the loving, kind-hearted soul that she was. We love you to the moon and back Mom!

She is survived by her children Jennifer Tromans of Sunrise, FL (husband Scott Tromans) and Kimberly Beitz of Groveland, FL (husband John Beitz, Jr.). “Nana Sue” to Tiffani Beitz, Sean Tromans, Justin Beitz, and Kristen Tromans. Her Brother Kevin Barnhart, Sister Mary O’Neil, Sister-in-law Nancie Proulx and Brother-in-law Raymond Proulx, and Sister-in-law Fran Barnhart, all of whom she loved dearly.

A celebration of Susan and Robert’s life will be held at The Proulx’s Camp on Coles Pond, Eastern Ave, Walden,VT at 12pm on June 10, 2023.
