Terry grew up in Iowa and graduated from Guthrie Center high school class of 1965. He worked for the pipeline before enlisting in the Army and serving in Vietnam.
Terry married Jackie Nell Garmany and they were blessed with two children, Terri Lynn Lake of Florida and Timothy Titus of Arizona. In 1978 they moved their family to Ocoee, FL.
Terry was a firefighter for 35 years serving 10 years as a volunteer in Iowa and 25 years on the Ocoee Fire department.
Terry reunited with his high school love, Rhonda Scott Crum and they were married in 2018.
Terry was a member of the American Legion for over 50 years. He was also a member of the Florida Fossil Hunters Association and a Backyard Archaeologist in the Mid Florida Archaeological and Historical Society.
Terry was an avid arrowhead hunter with an impressive collection gathered throughout many years. He liked searching for seashells at the beach and enjoyed collecting rocks and minerals as well as oldies records.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, first wife and nephew, Eric Titus.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Rhonda; children Terri Lynn and Timothy (Rachel); grandchildren Ashley (Joe), Sydney and Makenzi and great-grandchildren Rylee and Ivy Sue. Also surviving are three brothers Steve (Carol), Mick (Kathy) and Scott (Kim).
A visitation will be held on Wednesday September 30, 2020 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Winter Garden, 428 E. Plant St. Winter Garden, Florida 34787. A funeral service will be held on Thursday October 1, 2020 at 4:00pm at Starke Lake Baptist Church 611 West Ave. Ocoee, Florida 34761
Burial will be private at Florida National Cemetery
